It was a myth that Vampires burnt alive in the sunlight, it was also a myth that they would be repelled by the cross, a myth it was also that they hated garlic. It always made Levi snicker at some of the things that humans wrote about his kind, he found the up most humor in the Twilight series and then proceed to burn the three books in his fire place. He preferred his time spent in Victorian England were he was feared, the good ol' time were Vampires were horrific blood sucking creatures and not some pansy sparkling things.
He was centuries old spending each one in comfort and in peace, he spent his time in many extravagant homes. First he owned a beautiful Gothic styled castle, each home him moved into was modern as the time went on. Now he owned a penthouse apartment, it was large, with many rooms that were fully furnished. He always spent his life alone, shutting out society choosing to observe them. Well... That was only half true...
''I can hear you''
''Awww, Levi!''
He let out a throaty chuckle at the very familiar childish whine, a small smile found his lips when he felt her wrap her arms around his legs. ''You have like, super hearing or something!''
''I can assure you that I have no such thing'' His fingers brushed through her hair till they came down to trace her jawline, she giggled and pulled away slightly. ''Your hands are cold!''
She didn't know what he was. A Vampire. He wanted that to remain, a child as young as she should not have to know that creatures like him existed. His mind cast back to the day that the two had met, it was just another ordinary day for him as he walked the streets he'd left the comfort of his home to pick up some necessities. When he felt a tug on his trench coat, ''S'cuse me mister, you dropped this''
He remembers looking down at her holding up his wallet that he didn't even know he'd dropped, he was surprised to say the least when she had chased after him to give it back, he was even more lucky to have it handed back to him. It will still vivid in his mind the condition that she was in; frail, her hair tattered and dirtied she was underweight by a considerable amount, she looked so tiny. He wasted no time at all in scooping her up into his arms, she was frightened at first but he soothed her fears with promises that no harm will come to her.
He took her under his wing after learning of her parents horrific death, there was no way that he could simply let her back on the streets, or even take her to an orphanage after roaming the earth for as long as he had he'd heard many horror stories of those places. It was the first time he'd come out of his very solitude existence and he didn't regret it. He gave her the nourishment that she needed, the love that she wanted, the education that she desired.
Now he relished in the sounds of her feet as she ran through the house, her laugh, her smile and if he was honest it brought a smile to his face. She made a game of trying to sneak up on him he could hear her as soon as she started but he let her have her fun before he announced that he could hear her. She shared the same love that he did for classical literature, the pair would spend hours reading she would be nestled conformable in his lap. They would each take turns acting out lines of a Shakespeare place, or she would be lulled to sleep by he deep monotone voice as he read to her. She had a undying love for the piano and the violin, both she could play to level way above her age once Levi had is influence.
Levi had to be careful when he needed to take care of his 'craving' making sure to only feed when she was off at school so he had plenty of time till he came down from his high. He even started to make it a habit of eating human food at the table so she didn't start to ask questions, his body didn't need the food but he'd eat it.
''Do you have any school work that needs doing, little one?''
''No, I finished it all at school so I didn't have to do anything at home''
''I see, do you wish to read with me?'' She nodded eagerly and took his outstretched hand, ''Your hands are always cold Levi, why is that?''
''I'm afraid I don't know, little one''
''I know, I know why you are cold, why your skin is so pale. I know what you are'' Levi stopped in his tracks and knelt in front of her, ''Oh, you do?'' She nodded a ghost of a smile on her lips, ''Say it, out loud, say it''
''It's because you are a...SNOWMAN!'' She irrupting into a fit of giggles, Levi who had been tense relaxed and smiled before scooping her up into his arms, ''Yes, yes of course. A snowman''
There was nothing to him that compared to a child's innocence, and there was no other kind of innocence that compared to hers. She was his child, his daughter. He'd go to the end of the world if she so required, he never though that a child could bring him such happiness, he forgot how it good it felt to have someone around him and to have someone look up to him.

Laughter Dies (Laughing Jack x Depressed!Reader)
Laughing Jack had always liked to hear you sing. Well, you were very good at it, after all (or so he insisted) and for him to have a private concert was almost all he needed from you to stay happy. Of course, he had to have you, your smiles and laughter, your heart before he could truly be happy, but the singing was always the best part. After he'd finally got his nerve to take your virginity, you had pet his hair and hummed to him softly as he dozed off. The feelings were probably bad to have, but he decided he liked the weakness you were to him.
However, though Jack saw your smiles, he didn't see your tears. Somehow, even with your small g

[Vampire!Levi x Reader] Sacrificium
You stared out the the window of your room. The moon was on its fullest; its light illuminating the landscapes, making the mountains and the trees appear mystifying.
Your bare feet hardly make any sound as you silently walked out of the room you shared with Sasha. Everyone was fast asleep but you still have to be careful. You didn't want anyone to wake up and question you. You didn't want to explain to them why you were walking towards the lance corporal's room, donned only with your sleeping clothes.
When you reached the door leading to his room, you raised your hand to knock, only to stop upon realizing that you don't have to. You took a

Baby And Me - Levi x Reader
Your eyes snap wide open. You quickly sit up and turn your head to the clock: 3:52 AM. Not wanting to wake your husband, you slide out of bed and tip-toe out the bedroom. After you shut the door, you begin to run down the hall, your feet echoing loudly on the floor. You almost knock down the door as you enter, responding to the faint fussing noises you heard. You run to the bassinet, and peer over. You sigh, partially because you’re cold, hungry, and insanely tired; the other half being that your worst nightmares were wrong.
Slowly, you pick up the swaddled infant, and start singing a few remembered lullabies, hoping the baby will cal
